I don’t have a lot to say today. This is mostly due to having a huge workload (spring is our busy season), so my brain is kind of fried. I didn’t have the results I wanted this week, but it wasn’t too bad. A half pound gain can be anything, even a little bit of extra water weight. To be honest, I was afraid it would be more because I’ve been so busy, it’s been kind of hard to keep up with everything. And I haven’t been able to exercise at lunch because I’ve only taken about 20 minutes for lunch most days this week. One day I didn’t even go to lunch, just wolfed down something here at my desk. But there’s light at the end of the tunnel. The big orders are slowing down, so it’s mostly small internet orders I’ll be dealing with now. Whew. I’m SO tired.
Stats for this week:
Beginning weight: 193
Today’s weight: 175
This week’s gain: .5 lbs. (notice the decimal-half lb., not 5 lbs. hahahaha)
Total loss: 18 lbs.
Just be sure to not over-do yourself. There’s a reason we need that time for a break during our work day. It’s so you can re-group and make it through the rest of the day with a little bit of sanity. 😉 Go work out anyway. You’ll feel better. Go after work if you can. Even if just for a little cardio.
I’m hoping I can get back on routine next week. I’m going to try to cook enough to be able to bring my lunch to eat at my desk so I won’t have to clock out. Then I can take my lunch hour to work out. And I need to start getting back on my bike after work now that it’s getting a little warmer.
Hope you get to relax some over the weekend.
Well, I have a clothing giveaway I have to go to at church from 9-12, but after that I plan to relax. The weather is supposed to be beautiful tomorrow, as it is today, so I might spend some time outside. Hubby is going stir crazy with his broken ankle, not being able to do much, so I hope I can find something fun for us to do tomorrow that doesn’t involve walking. 🙂
Is his ankle on the mend yet? Enjoy the sunshine, maybe go to a park with a picnic, no walking!
He thought it was better, but the doctor told him to get back off of it and back on crutches for awhile. Mostly because of the sprain rather than the break.
Maybe we can just sit on our deck in the back and listen to the birds. And play with our dogs. 🙂
I hear you, relaxation is just what the Dr. ordered. My brain needs a break.
Enjoy the nice weather. I’m looking at a high in the thirties and rain snow mix. I’m just itching to get out golfing, but the weather isn’t cooperating.
We got above 70 today and are supposed to tomorrow. :p
Hope you get to rest soon. You definitely have your hands full.
Thanks, Ruth.
