It’s party time on Twitter! Rock on!
I’ve written almost 1500 words in the past two days, so I’m almost 500 words ahead of my cumulative goal.
I’ve not finished proofing Starfane yet, but my print cover is done!
Exercise was a massive fail this week. I knew this would be the goal I would have the most trouble with. Baby steps. But my goal is exercising 30 minutes a day 3 times a week (minimum) and the week’s not over yet! π Maybe I’ll ride my bike tomorrow.
So now I’m leaving you with some Rock N Roll! Please ignore the screaming girls. (Yes, I’m showing my age, but I love the Beatles!)
Yay for goals! I”m at the party now…
i was at the party during the day. I had to go to church tonight, and I guess I should write before going back. LOL
Every day the sun comes up and we have a new chance to exercise – tomorrow is a good day to start! π That is my goal for tomorrow – make it to the gym, now that I have worked through the stress of getting my wireless back operational.
Great job with the word count for the writing, keep it going!
Good philosophy! π I’m actually going to ride my bicycle for the first time this evening. I may fall off. LOL. I’m going to try to ride for an hour (a couple of friends are riding with me), but I’m not sure I’ll last that long.
Thanks, I hope I can keep up that word count!
Your word count is awesome! The exercise will come.
Thanks, Amy! I hope I can continue staying ahead.
Great job with your word count! π
Thanks, Ghenet!
Hi! I’m a newbie, also aiming for 500 words a day for 80 days. I look forward to learning from you and the other ROW80 veterans! π
And hey, I loooove the Beatles, thank you for that treat!
I hope you enjoy ROW80! Writing 500 words a day is doable for most people and a very reasonable goal.I strive for at least 500, and then I get to do the happy dance when I write more than that. LOL.
The Beatles are my favorite!
You’re doing great! I like the way you think…you’ll ride your bike tomorrow. I think that way about my exercise, too. Like Row 80 in general, our goals need to be flexible.
I like your new blog header!
Thanks, Laurel! I’ve made plans with my friend and her husband to ride bikes this evening. I hope I can keep up with them!
My cover artist did that header. She keeps getting better at graphics. π
Sometimes I like to exercise right at the end of my writing stretch, when I’m all abuzz with my story, but know I have to call it a day. If I can use that energy for good, awesome!
I’m the opposite. I like to exercise before I write because my mind seems to be clearer. Whatever works. Just as long as there’s exercise somewhere in there. π
What a great design, Lauralyn! The colors are so strong, too. Very nice. Congrats on all but the exercise….but you can still get a workout in π Then you’ll feel like you at least participated in that goal’s accomplishment for the week…ha! Good luck on the proofing…I’ll begin that in a few weeks with my next novella. ~ Nadja
Thanks, Nadja! My cover artist knows my favorite colors are red and black. π
I did do some bicycling on Thursday. I was so sore on Friday that I had to take something for the pain. LOL. I just have to keep it up!
I’m proofing for print right now. I don’t want errors in a print version because that’s so hard to fix! But I’ll also change the ebook version if I find any. That’s a lot easier.
