I really don’t have a lot to say this morning. The three days I planned to write this week…well…it didn’t happen. Yep, life got in the way again. I sliced my palm on Thursday, had a church thing to go to on Friday night, had a sick husband on Saturday…. Yes, after all this stuff with his ankle, now he has a toothache. A BAD one. And all the emergency dental places he called weren’t working this weekend. He almost passed out yesterday, so I didn’t leave him all day. My mom went to the drugstore for us and filled a pain prescription he had. His regular dentist can’t see him till Wednesday, but he’s going SOMEWHERE tomorrow. This is hurting him worse than his broken ankle. So it makes me hurt, too, almost to the point of crying. π¦ And his face is starting to swell.
Oh, and I have a sick cat. It’s Oz throwing up this time instead of Willow. So it looks like a vet visit.
I hope everyone else had a better week!
And I have no idea why I’m still checking in when the round is over. Habit I guess.
Tooth pain is the worst.
Hope you can get some enjoyment this Easter weekend.
I’ve been very lucky that I haven’t had much trouble with my teeth. Hubby has had all kinds of problems with his. π¦
Well, I did have some enjoyment from wearing a new dress this morning after losing 20 lbs. π
Bless your heart. π¦ Do you need me to come over and give you a hug? I will if you need me to. <3. Or I can just do that tomorrow night at dinner if you are still able to go. π
I really hope I can go to dinner tomorrow night. Susan was passing through Cleveland yesterday and we had just made plans to eat lunch together right before hubby almost passed out. So I had to call right back and cancel. π¦ So let’s play tomorrow by ear. We’ll see what the dentist does. I suspect he’ll have to have antibiotics for a few days before they’ll do anything.
Hopefully next week will be better for you and the hubby. Happy Easter!
Thanks, Chris!
Good heavens. I hope everyone gets better ASAP. That totally sucks. π¦
When it rains it pours. I hope hubby can get some relief tomorrow.
Yikes. Hope you and hubby are back to good health soon. Life sure doesn’t bend to our intended writing plans. And what is it with cats and puking? I came home to a whole room full of it after a recent trip. Is it because they’re shedding more now?
I hope so, too, Michelle!
I don’t know if you remember when Willow was throwing up, then stopped eating, then stopped drinking. She had a bladder infection. Now Oz has been throwing up, then stopped eating, but he’s still drinking water. However, I noticed him eating with enthusiasm this morning, so maybe there won’t have to be a vet’s visit. I’ll keep an eye on him.
Hopefully, he’ll get better on his own soon. Don’t you wish they could talk sometimes and tell us what’s wrong?
I hope so. Too many sick people at my house! Yeah, my cat’s people. LOL. I really, really do wish they could talk. They look at you in an eerie kind of way and you REALLY want to know what they’re thinking. Or maybe not….
I’d want to know what they’re thinking, though most of the time it’s probably, “It’s been ten whole minutes since you last fed me, you evil witch. If you don’t feed me again, I’m going to walk on your keyboard and destroy the last paragraph you wrote.”
