What do you mean, it’s October? LOL Where does the time go? I’m loving our fall weather after so much HEAT this summer. So here’s what’s going on:
Writing: I’m still in the midst of editing Soul of a Vampire. My hopeful publishing date was Oct. 4, but I had completely forgotten about our revival at church. Plus, I’ll be in Tallahassee Fri-Sun for a work trip. If I can swing it, I might get it done by the 4th (isn’t that tomorrow?), but we’ll see. Also, I haven’t started on my next WIP yet because of the aforementioned revival. I will probably start on Thursday.
Health: I’ve been faithful in my workouts so far. I’m very, very sore. I’m still working on the eating habits, but I did leave about a third of my lunch on my plate Monday. So that’s progress.
How are the rest of you doing?
Wait, y’all are actually GETTING fall weather? JEALOUS. We’re having cool mornings but still warm days. I’m looking for COAT WEATHER!
Way to go for sticking to your fitness routine! I ran for the first time in two weeks this morning, which went better than I expected it would. I read something the other day about how one of the best ways to establish new habits is just to start. Every day, just start. If you exercise in the morning, don’t focus on the whole exercise part when you’re trying to decide whether to hit off or snooze, just get out of bed. The rest usually takes it from there. ๐
Yes, highs in the 70’s. We are supposed to get a couple of days of 80’s, then after that, highs in the 60’s. I don’t like coat weather. I like the in between where you don’t wear shorts, but still can wear short sleeves.
Thanks, I’m determined not to sabotage myself this time. I’m sure you’ll get back on track with running and hopefully will get some cooler weather so you won’t sweat. LOL
Your update looks like mineโshort but sweet! I can’t believe it’s October already! Sheesh! I’m now feeling anxiety about my WIPs. I’m in Cali, so the weather here has been up in the 80’s-90’s every day. No, I’m not kidding. But that’s why I love it! ๐
Good luck with your goals this week.
I don’t like to have too many goals at once, so I pretty much keep it short.
Take a deep breath and let go of that anxiety. I try not to get too anxious anymore. It’s very liberating. LOL
Up until the last couple of weeks, we had temps in the 80’s. There was a time this summer when we reached 105 a few times. I was not happy.
I am so glad October is here. The Autumn has to be better than this past summer. Weather was simply awful.
Good for you sticking to your workouts. I’m terribly when it comes to exercising.
I used to love summer. But now the heat really gets to me. I love October. All the Halloween decorations come out. ๐
I’ve been bad in the past, but I’ve just decided I would enjoy life much more if I felt better. And I would enjoy shopping more if I looked better. LOL
Yes, Halloween decorations! I just wish Halloween was longer than one day/night. I’m a big kid at heart.
I hate when I forget plans, and then my goals are not made because of it. Oh well – only thing you can do is adjust – and we can, in ROW80! Keep up the good work on your health goals!
My goals are going well so far – time to get on the treadmill for some good reading. We are having absolutely lovely fall weather in Ohio today!
That’s the great thing about ROW80…you CAN adjust. ๐
I love that little place on my treadmill where I can put a book, my iPad, etc.
I’m a cardigan girl – dont like winter – all that gear one has to put on to keep warm – autumn is perfect – spring is lovely – all the best:)
I hate to wear coats. And now that I’m having all these hot flashes, I get hot and cold and hot and cold…. LOL
Hope things are going well with the editing, and that the next WIP kicks off smoothly!
You somehow stayed stuck in my comments waiting for approval! Sorry about that. So far the new WIP hasn’t gotten started. Next week! ๐
