Okay, okay, I get the Damon thing now. I know I said that I thought Stefan was hotter and I couldn’t understand the obsession so many women had with Damon. But I GET it now. I’m not sure where the turning point was. I can’t put my finger on the exact moment when I suddenly realized Damon was hot. Maybe it happened slowly as I began to see some real humanity come through. He is obviously in love with Elena. I think maybe the moment that it really hit me was when he kissed Katherine, thinking it was Elena. That was such an intense moment that I had butterflies. When I realized that I was actually disappointed that it WASN’T Elena, then I knew I was getting the Damon thing. I do still really like Stefan. I think the two brothers complement each other…dark and light. (On a side note, it helps me a lot to think of these characters as older adults instead of high school kids.)
I know many of you out there want to say “I told you so”. So go ahead. I understand now. LOL

The problem is, now I can’t stop thinking about him. LOL
I’m going to set up the DVR if we’re not recording other things. But I haven’t watched any this season, so I have to finish season two on Netflix, then figure out how I’m going to watch the first part of this season. I may have to wait until it’s over and on Netflix.

Hmm, maybe I should give it another go. I watched one episode and kind of forgot about it. I didn’t like the book though, so I probably didn’t give it a real chance. I have gathered there is quite a bit of Damon obsession online though. 😀

I didn’t really get into the show in the first two or three episodes. You have to watch a few before it grabs you.
Is this a televisions show? I thought it might be a book. I’m not a big T.V. watcher, but sounds like a popular show! I love those butterfly moments….yum!
It’s a TV show based on a book series. I’ve never read the books, but when everyone started talking about the TV show, I finally broke down and started watching on Netflix. Now I’m finding myself watching two or three shows at a time because I’m getting so obsessed with it. I’m going to have to start making rules about TV time. LOL
There was another butterfly moment last night. And I had to keep rewinding it because I never could understand what Damon said. I still don’t know. Grrrrr. Maybe if I try to look up great lines or moments online, I can find out what he said. It’s driving me crazy this morning.

I wish I could find someone who would know what Damon said to Elena before that big tear dropped out of his eye. I think he might have made her forget after he told her he loved her, but I’m not sure. Maybe he said something like “I wish you could remember this”. Who knows? It’s driving me crazy!
Okay, everyone who might have been trying to help me figure out what Damon said…i just found it on YouTube and was able to hear it better than on my TV. He said “God, I wish you didn’t have to forget this. But you do.” Yay! I finally know.
They really don’t work as high school kids, do they? I’d even believe it a little more if Elena was a college student.

Hi, Catie. Yeah, it still bothers me how easily these people fall into bed together since they’re supposed to be high school kids. Like Kait Nolan said on one of her blog posts, that should be a big deal, not just something to pass off as nothing.
I still like Stefan just fine, but Damon just makes my heart flutter. 🙂 I knew I would join in revolution sooner or later, since everyone else was so sure. I just wasn’t sure when it would happen. What a hottie! LOL
