I am absolutely on cloud nine. Because of this.
One of the cover models I use on my books is putting this event together. His name is Jimmy Thomas, and he’s not just a pretty face, um, or body. He’s a savvy businessman who launched the website romancenovelcenter.com. It’s a place where authors, cover artists, editors, readers, etc. can get together. It’s a great networking site.
The convention includes classes, seminars, parties, a costume ball, meet and greets, and so much more. There are so many things to do, I can’t list them all here. And the price is all inclusive! I think it’s a reasonable price for the hotel rooms, the classes, the food…awesome. Anyway, you might want to check it out. Just click on the link above and you’ll have the info you need. Jimmy is handsome, and a smart business man. Whenever I get around to visiting the US, I’m going to stay for a couple of months and see as much as I can. New Orleans, Las Vegas, Roswell, Boston, San Francisco…
I think you’ll like New Orleans. Such a rich paranormal history. 🙂 I’ve been twice, and the last time I stayed at the Hotel Monteleone. I was at a convention, and I was talking to someone who was attending. When he found out there was supposed to be a ghost there, he moved his reservation to another hotel. LOL
I’d love to stay in a haunted hotel. What a coward 🙂

And I agree with Emma, haunted hotel, sign me up. And yes New Orleans is an amazing city though I haven’t been since Katrina. I need to win the lottery or marry a sugar-momma, just so much want and not enough time.

When I was in New Orleans a couple of years ago, the bus driver that drove us from the airport to the hotel actually did a narrative on the way. I don’t think it was his job, he just did it. He showed us which areas were under water after Katrina. You could see the water line on some of the buildings. I sort of wish I had gone up to the floor that’s supposed to be haunted. How cool and spooky! Actually, I don’t really believe in ghosts…but you never know, right?

I was really surprised how inexpensive this was for everything. You usually pay that much for just a hotel room for four nights. I’ve always wanted to go to Vegas, too. I would like to see all the different themes in the hotels.
I hear the food in Vegas is really good. 😀
