I posted (on Facebook, I think) the other day that I was excited because I had ordered some air plants and couldn’t wait to get them. I know, it doesn’t take much to excite me, right? They arrived Saturday, and I gave them a good soak. And this is what I did with them. 🙂
So pretty!!!
See that little tiny one on the left? That one is missing now. I don’t have to look far to discover the culprit. There’s no telling where that one is. 😦
Oh my….so which little furball absconded with it? 😉
I have no idea. It was probably a joint effort. I wish I knew where they hid it. And the word “little” no longer applies to either of my furballs. LOL
Those are cute! 🙂
I love them. And the awesome thing is that they produce “pups”, so I will eventually have lots of these things hanging around. 🙂
Cute enough to name! “Shrimp”, “Spider”, “Redhead”, “Spike”, and “Green Thing”?
LOL, Michelle. Actually, the smallest one is called Ionantha Peanut. But now you’ve made me really want to name them. 🙂
I’m probably letting myself down right now but I’ve never heard of air plants.
Air plants need no soil! 🙂 Seriously, you soak them in water about once a week, let them dry, and put them wherever you want to. They get nutrients from the air, but they have to have the water, too. They come in many shapes. The next one I want is Medusa, which looks kind of like what you would expect “snake hair” to look like. LOL
I saw the post on Facebook and meant to look up ‘Air Plants’ as I had never heard of them. But now I know what they are, and they’re cool. Good bye Chia Pet hello Air Plants.
Hey, maybe I should make some interesting shapes out of them like chia pets. LOL. I thought the cats had gotten the little one, but my husband found it stuck inside one of the big ones. So the cats apparently were just messing with me, moving the big ones around and hiding the little one in one of the others. Devious felines!
I haven’t heard of air plants before. They sound like awesome plants, and I love the picture! 😀 I love that you share pictures on your blog.
Air plants are so EASY. 🙂 I like to share pictures. And I like to look at pictures on other blogs.
