Today is a very exciting day. Why? Because Susan Bischoff is coming to my house, and then she and I are going to Birmingham to meet Kait Nolan. We’re staying there one night, and we’re going to have a great little writers retreat. We always have so much fun when we get together.

Hi Claire. I didn’t know any writers in real life except Jonathan Eli, and he was my best friend’s husband. I actually met Kait and Susan online. I’ve also met Andrew Mocete in another get together with Kait and Susan. So except for Jon, I’ve only met authors online, but have been able to see them later. It’s great when you finally get to meet them for real!
Yes! I did something like that last year. It was awesome meeting my friends. I wish you could’ve been . . . oh, wait. You were there. So you know.
Yeah, Andrew, I remember that. LOL. It was fun, wasn’t it? I wish you didn’t live so far away. I hope we’ll be able to get together with you again soon. It would be cool to get together a larger writers retreat, too, wouldn’t it?

When I first read this…my heart skipped a beat – just a second too soon….you see, I was too lazy to get my glasses before reading, so I saw Birmingham – but read Binghamton – and thought for that one second that you all were just an hour or so away from me….haha.. That’s what happens when you don’t wear your glasses!
Isn’t that in NY? Yeah, we were pretty far away from there. I actually went southwest. Maybe someday….

We may just have to get up that way. I was actually there once, but you couldn’t meet up. 😦 I don’t know if my boss is going to let me go to the NY thing this year or not.
