I’m over 1600 words ahead! That means that I’m more than three days ahead of my cumulative goal right now. I keep being afraid I’m going to suddenly get stalled. There’s going to have to be a lot of detail in parts of this story and I just hope I’m up to the challenge. I’ve got to figure some stuff out, so even though I’m a pantser, I may have to plot just a tad on this one.
How is everyone else doing?
1600 ahead? Well done!
Thanks, Katherine!
Three days off. Ooooh, yah. 😀
You can do it, a little plotting is okay. We won’t kick you out of the pantser club. 😛
LOL, Claire, on the pantser club. No real plotting…just a few little notes….
yay for you for being so far in front. I always deviate from my plotting but it helps keep me focused to an extent. If you do stall it’s still progress, a sign that write brain is unconsciously working things out.
Thanks, Katy. Sometimes we do have to work some things out before putting them on paper.
I’ve been editing my other book this week, so no writing for me. Hoping to catch up again next week. 🙂
Congrats on your focus and your progress. Good luck!
Thanks, Kate. I hope it keeps going as well.
Your editing counts just as much as writing. Because that has to be done, too! :0)
1600 words?! That’s fantastic! Congrats!
From a fellow pantser, a little plotting is necessary sometimes. No one method works all the time, so just do what you gotta do. You’re writing–that’s all that really matters. 🙂
Thank you, Lacy! I’m going to at least jot down some notes and try to work out some of the details that have to be right.
