Yeah, I’m a day late.
In my last post, I had listed four things I had going on. Well, I’ve added another proofreading job, but this one is a second pass-through, so it shouldn’t take too long. I have to get one job done because I’ve been paid already. 🙂 I need to get the beta read done, too. So I’m focusing on those two things first.
I just want to say I will strangle anyone who suggests I go somewhere or do something Saturday. My whole day last Saturday was filled with a church function, so I NEED this Saturday to get things done. If I really work hard, I can get the beta read AND the proofing job almost done. Then I’ll just have the one other one, so I can work on my own stuff. Hubby wants to watch Captain America: Winter Soldier tonight, so that will take up a couple of hours. But I need recreation and I need to spend time with hubby. We shall have popcorn.
And speaking of my own stuff. I’m still working on getting some suggested edits done on Fire Wizard. I HAVE to get these done soon because I’m releasing this book on October 2, and I’m celebrating with a Facebook release party. You are all invited.

I discovered the handy calendar function of my computer a couple of days ago, and now I can set up my targets for the day and then move through them. I had a wonderfully fertile Friday, and I’ve got high hopes for today. I do posts on Saturday-Monday, usually four, and I usually scramble to get them done before midnight.
As I type this, all the drafting except two quick intros has been done (for my ROW80 and Second-Serving Sunday posts). Most of the links have been added -and I even have a bonus post in the works!
I’m also bringing in firewood, writing, and getting the house and yard into a better place for winter.
I feel suddenly rich!
You know, we’re all rich in so many ways! And I did have popcorn. 🙂
Sometimes I get so overwhelmed, my own work gets put on the backburner. But Kait has ORDERED me to take four days a week where I work on my own stuff FIRST, before doing anything for anyone else. She’ll be watching! LOL
Ha, very funny that I should read this after my post about the importance of breaks! But popcorn and movies are always good; the boyfriend and I are trying to figure out when is a good time for me to finally see the new Godzilla! Good luck with all the projects. Just keep at it and the next thing you know, it’s done.
I’ve had a very productive day, taking breaks in between working.

I hear you on being busy. I’m just now getting to my emails. I thought once school started, I’d have more time to write. The opposite is true. I’m three weeks behind in my goal to work on my next Regency, and since I already tied that in with a preorder, I need to get my butt in gear on it. 🙂

My Saturday was wonderful! I got so much done. You can see part of that because of the email I sent you. 😉 Captain America was good, but it’s still definitely not one of my favorite Avenger movies.
