My goal for this round is to finish my WIP by writing 3,000 words per week. This week…drum roll…I wrote 4,552. Yay! I hope I can continue this way. My characters threw a couple of surprises at me this week, so I’m going to have to rearrange things a bit. π
That’s all.
Well done.
Thanks, Emma!
great job!!
Thanks, Fallon!
Well done Emma, that’s great. Good luck for next week.
Well, I’m Lauralynn, but thanks! π
Go you! Hope the momentum keeps going. π
Thanks, Shah. I hope the momentum DOES keep going.
Nice! Best of luck with the word count this week!
Thanks, J.R. I hope I can keep up the word count. This is the first time in a long time.
Awesome! I’m glad to hear it. π
Thanks, Ruth. I hope I can do the same next week!
Great job! Straight ahead…
Thanks! John, for some reason, your comment made me think of βSecond star to the right and straight on ’til morning. β from Peter Pan. My mind is weird. LOL
A solid, but busy goal. Nice that your characters decided to surprise you. That means they’re doing new and interesting things. More work for you, of course, but still cool.
That was always what was fun being a pantser. I had no idea what the characters would do. But I’ve found you can still be surprised by a character even when you have a…you know…plot. LOL
That’s good to know. I’ve been dreading being more organized because of that uncertainty… π
Awesome on surpassing your writing goal. I love it when my characters throw surprises my way–it keeps me on my toes. I thought I was writing book 2 of my series, but then one of the characters demanded her own novella. π
Isn’t it funny how it’s hard to control those pesky characters?
