I’m a little disappointed in the number of comments on yesterday’s interview. I do know that many of the people who usually comment are extremely busy on their own projects right now, but come on…you can stop in and say hello. Especially for a chance to win a couple of eBooks. :0) Anyway, I’m going to leave the post open for comments through the weekend, so there’s still a chance to win.
Sorry, LL. I wasn’t online very much yesterday, and every time I even tried to do something I got some kind of flak from one or the other of the two who were home because of the ice. I’m mostly steering clear of entering giveaways because my TBR is so bad right now and it seems senseless to take a freebie away from someone who might actually have time to enjoy it.
I think this might be a common thing. I’ve run a few giveaways lately, and only the one that was an $8 book got more than a few responses. Friends of mine have reported similar low turnouts lately.
There were a couple I didn’t enter because I had already bought and read the books. LOL. I also had one person tell me that if they win for me to draw again because they plan on buying The Gardener and already have Guardian Vampire. We all have big TBR piles, but, hey, I eventually get around to mine. :0) I can NEVER get enough books. Love ’em!
It may just be a tough time of year. In December, I’m sure a lot of people are like me where they could use 50 hours, instead of just 24 each day (and, unfortunately, you have to sleep for a third of that—LOL). It might help contest entrants to know that the code for the free download for The Gardener will be good through the end of January. BTW…I love your new moon header and snowfall…very appropriate for today’s weather here!
I know it’s a tough time. Like Susan said, no one is doing too well with giveaways right now.
The coupon code is good through January, but I have to pick a winner before then. LOL
I thought it was time to change the header. This isn’t the one I’m staying with forever, but it does look cool with WordPress’s snow they’re letting us do.
