Is anyone else having cooler than usual temperatures for July?
I was really wanting to get Fire Wizard done by the end of this round, but I don’t guess that’s going to happen. I’m working on two line editing jobs for other people right now, so I haven’t had time to even touch my manuscript. Once I get done with one of them, I think I’ll be able to find some time to pick back up on the book. It’s in the middle of the climax of the story right now, so I’ll have to read back over the last 2-3 chapters to get the momentum back. My cover artist, Anya Kelleye, isn’t done with the cover, anyway. So I guess that works out for both of us. LOL
So, were my goals met? My proofing goals, yes. My writing goals, a world of no. 50% is better than nothing. 🙂

Yes! It’s been GLORIOUS. It was 55 when I took the dog out this morning! I don’t even know what to think about that.
That’s about what the temp was when I started to work this morning.
It was gorgeous when we were out mid-morning, and only 83 right now. It’s usually in the upper 80’s or low 90’s with dew points in the 70’s this time of year. I’ll take it.
I think a lot of the country is getting cooler than usual temperatures. It’s really nice.
I actually turned on the heat the last two nights. It’s weird. I don’t know what to think.
Whoever that crazy person is who asks you to edit her books ought to be tossed out the window. Why can’t she understand you have a life? LOL

Been chilly around my place, too, but that’s fine by me! I love me some moderate weather. And good job – my math might not add up, but I say 50% is 100% better than 0%.

Yes, I am. I’m hoping for a slight lull in Aug or Sept when I might be between jobs. I don’t mind as long as I’m doing one at a time.
Holy smokes. I’d say 50% ain’t too bad, especially when 50% entails as much work and time as your 50% does.
